Sharing from Global Health Council
“A recent WHO and UNICEF report presents a global assessment of the extent to which health care facilities in low- and middle-income countries fail to provide even basic WASH services. Using data from 66,101 facilities in 54 countries the report concludes that 38% of health care facilities are unable to provide even rudimentary levels of WASH. This lack of basic necessities such as soap and water compromises the ability of health care facilities to provide even the most routine health services.
Global Health Council (GHC) is working with several partners to advocate on this issue. To better inform our advocacy efforts, our coalition wants to know who is working on WASH in health care facilities and where. We would greatly appreciate your taking this brief survey on your organization’s activities on WASH in health care facilities.
While the aggregate data from all responses may be made public, individual responses and specific organizational information will not be shared.” Please click here to complete the survey.
